We’ve successfully had our first Presentation Night at Bergen St. Our line-up presented thoughtful, hilarious and helpful observations and we’re so happy to have had them!
Here’s who presented in our first iteration of the series:
Michael Bunsen- (Book Report) on For Whom The Bell Tolls
From drones to caves, landscapes and enemy lines, Michael spoke about the depth of Ernest Hemmingways novel set during the Spanish Civil War. Also an interesting note was the censorship found in Michaels copy..you’ll have to ask him about it.
Ryan Greene- (Film Review) The 5th Wonder of the Sci-Fi World
It would be a lie to say that we don’t all know and love The 5th Element…or atleast secretly we love it. Ryan takes us through the world of early CGI, fashion trends of the future, gender neutrality and ends with an overview of just what it took to get this movie made.
Dana Gluck- Wanna Be Invertin’ Somethin’
By the time you’ve had your first cup of coffee, Dana Gluck has probably done multiple positions of inversions during her yoga practice. In her gracious and completely inspiring presentation, she walks us through the power of inverting the body and the health benefits that arise from it.
Adrienne Huckabone + Gabi Villasenor- The Secret Meadow
Adrienne + Gabi presented chapter one of their speculative fiction short story inspired by their recent camping trip to upstate, NY. The Secret Meadow tells the tale of two women who come upon a mystery in the woods involving bio-hazardous waste, abalone shell plants and very heavy deer.
